As we told you, we got to hear Beyonce's new album....in FULL on Wednesday night and it was HOT!! She's releasing 2 versions of the album...a regular one and a deluxe version. The regular album is going to be double disc and will feature 11 tracks. The first disc will be from herself, Beyonce..and starts off with her new single "If I Were a Boy"..which is #1 at iTunes now and will probably stay that way for a while because it's a SMASH, much like the rest of the album. "Halo" is up next and is said to be her 2nd Urban Radio single....and it's another SMASH...especially since it was co-written by B and Ryan Tedder of One Republic...EPIC! "Halo..Halo..Halo" she repeats on the chorus and it's HOT! "Disappear" was up next...followed by "Broken Hearted Girl" and "Ave Maria"...which were all ballads and you can hear Beyonce's vocals at her best. She closes off the Beyonce CD with a track called "Satellites", which was a great way to introduce the next CD from...Sasha Fierce (her alter EGO). The Sasha Fierce CD was my favorite of the two...She kicked it off with the club banger "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) which is exploding at radio as well. "Radio" came up next and was HOT!! Could definitely hear it on the radio...LOL. She talks about how she loves her radio and it's really catchy! "Diva" was a Sean Garrett collabo and is a perfect song for Beyonce because she is a DIVA...but a DTE DIVA...Down to Earth Diva...LOL. "Diva is a hustla...I'm a Hustla" B sings with that banging beat. "Sweet Dreams" was up next and many of you true Beyonce fans have already heard this song before...as I know I have. "Sweet Dreams" is the final version of the demo track "Beautiful Nightmare" that leaked earlier this year, and she fixed it up great!! I hope it's released as a single because it had the whole crowd into it! The last track on the album is a great track and is one that fits perfectly in today's technology based world. "Video Phone" has Beyonce telling people to snap photos of her and to "Press record and film me"....it's a perfect way to end such a GREAT album. Rihanna needs to watch out because Beyonce is back to claim that throne! I see this album being very successful and will bring Beyonce back on top of the charts with first week sales of well over 600k! I hope I'm right...because she really deserves it and you can hear it in the quality of the music. Pick up the Queen B's new record, I am...Sasha Fierce when it drops on November 18th! You'll love it! http://youresopop.blogspot.com/2008/10/beyonce-i-amsasha-fierce-album-review.html-Mankey Current Mood: anxious
